Greetings and salutations.
If you just got engaged (yay!) and are planning a wedding in Perth, Western Australia;
If you are on the hunt for a wedding photographer who is not like your typical wedding photographer;
If you shudder at having to spend your wedding day being bossed around for photos;
If you are into the beautiful, chaotic, imperfect human condition - captured and immortalised in a way that only a camera can.
Then, you’ve come to the right place. Read on!
1st Vibe check: Here’s a short 1.5 minute slideshow to see if you like the images I capture.
2nd Vibe check: Do you think that I'm a weirdo?
Think about it. Your wedding photographer is literally the one person that will be around you the most throughout the day. Yes, even more so than that dreamy-eyed beau you’ll be marrying - he/she/they won’t be with you when you’re getting ready.
That’s why you want to make sure that you don’t end up with a buzz kill on your big day.

Crazy dog guy. Don’t even get me started. I’ll probably make you guys look at photos of my dogs.
I’m waaay into Lord of the Rings.
Warhammer 40k lore, anyone?
I wish that my life is a musical.
I love getting lost in those heavily story-driven video games.
Voted best-dressed wedding photographer in Perth (they’re probably just being nice, but I’ll take it).
Used to be a software engineer in my past life.
I’m super into kitchen knives and sharpening them.
I have a pretty extensive wish list of mechanical watches and cameras. 😬
Hit me up if you need a shopping buddy for perfumes, shoes, or clothes.
I know. I sound amazing. 😏 But what can you expect in terms of how I work/shoot?
I'm all about the natural, unscripted moments on a wedding day. There is no pretence, posing, or fake moments with me. Just a 100% honest documentary of the celebration of your marriage.
I love the unpolished and imperfect aesthetic - soft, organic, dreamy, intimate, and honest. None of that hyper-stylised and hyper-manufactured magazine cover nonsense.
Most of all, I want to produce work that tells stories, that leaves people wondering, that makes people feel something. I want to take photos that move people, that tickle their funny bones or tug at their heartstrings. Work that is emotional and endures forever.
Alright, nearly there. Last but not least. Pricing. What's the damage?
My base package is $4,200, but the most popular package goes for $5,500. This gets you:
Engagement session: You guys can get accustomed to how I shoot and be comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.
8 hours of wedding coverage: This is usually enough to cover prep till the first 30 minutes on the dance floor at your reception.
Online gallery: I’m trying to minimise waste as much as possible. So yeah, no USB drives (I also don’t think most computers these days have the old USB 2.0 ports anymore). I’ll deliver all your photos via an online gallery (this ain’t no boring old Dropbox though).
All the help & advice you need before the big day: Probably a fair bit of unsolicited opinion here and there. But hey, I’m sure there are some hidden gems in there.
11x14 fine art album (20 spreads): I’m a huge believer in printing your photos, and an album is the best way of displaying all your precious memories in one convenient place. You’ll treasure it for years and it will always be on hand to remind you and others of your love.
